Coterie Diapers

Had heard it recommended. Then tried out a bunch, agree this is the best. At the hospital the nurses commented is the softest diaper they ever saw. Super absorbant, no plastic ingredients etc

Dell XPS 13

I've been living with the new XPS 13 for a few weeks now. This has to be the best deal in computing! It's got my favorite keyboard on any laptop, great screen, solid 18A chip, and it costs just $699?! HOW? I keep looking for the catch.

Alo Yoga Modal Shorts

But now Alo has come out with new shorts that don't have polyester, and they're also not heavy: they're 47% Modal, 47% Cotton, 6% Elastane

Eight Sleep Pod

I've tried most of the "cold bed" solutions and this is the only bed I've slept in where I don't regularly wakeup in a pool of sweat (yuck). It gets COLD, is super comfy, and I miss it dearly when I'm away from home.

Norda 003

Every once in a while I run into a product that just feels better than anything else in its category. Almost as if it's in its own adjacent group, next to the category, but outside it. The Norda 003 is one of those products.

Tissot PRX

This one is a bit out there but if you want very gold (colored), auto, and something with character that isn't a dress watch, consider the Tissot PRX. Fits your stated budget. I have one and it's a lot of fun.

Festool Domino + Track Saw

Hmm, I have the smaller domino but I would like the bigger one sometimes. If I had money to waste I’d upgrade to a battery track saw (currently have the wired).

DJI Mic

The fun part: the DJI mic pictured here allows for an actual lapel mic with a cable to be plugged in and still have the whole thing be wireless. Get an under-shirt small mic and plug it in. Magic.

Buck Mason Heavy Tees

i still buy them but usually this is a bad sign & it happens to every brand. i purchased non stop from buck mason for years now but the t-shirt quality has gone down since they moved factories. scale has a huge impact on everything.

Freewrite Traveler

I got the freewrite travel typewriter...and it has its issues but I've really enjoyed freewriting 1k, 5k, 10k words over a coffee with no spellcheck let alone AI

1970 Ford Bronco

New addition to the collection: 1970 Ford Bronco — fully restored with a coyote V8. Brittany Blue w/ white interior.

Fjällräven Keb Trousers

the keb trousers are the best piece of clothing i’ve ever owned. i have two pairs and just got my first hole after almost 4 years of very intense use. luckily they can patch too 🤠

Vuori + Unbound Merino

Vuori and Unbound, in the dozens I've tried. For working out I usually go Lulu or Alo.

Starbucks TSMC Silicon-Wafer Mug

Acquired the best Starbucks mug of all time and the pinnacle of my tech company coffee cup collection. This was only available at the TSMC Starbucks and features the Starbucks logo as a chip on a silicon wafer. Hard to photograph though!

Toughbooks

So my kids get laptops. I tried a bunch of weird things at first, like old Toughbooks, and various cheapo windows Atom PCs, etc. Toughbooks aren't so tough, toddlers destroy them. And slow computers suck no matter what your age.

Ohsnap Grip

I've tried them all. and the @ohsnapgrip is the best thing out there. super slim, but pops out and gives you a grip, with a stand! magsafe compatible for iphone & turns android phones into magsafe as well :)

Tron Soundtrack Vinyl

And I have the original soundtrack on vinyl where the records look like the identity discs from the movie!

Leg Press Machine

I just got this leg press machine and already I’ve had several hours of the best exercise of my life. And that was just assembling it. I also plan to do some leg presses when I recover. 💪

MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro's MagSafe cable light is way too bright at night. It's such a basic thing for Apple's design team to overlook. They have the ambient light sensors, they have the technology to make it dim… It's strangely annoying.

TRMNL E-ink Display

Made a custom plugin for @useTRMNL e-ink display with my @openclaw today! - Teaching reading by hanging this e-ink display in my kids bedroom, showing custom content designed to match their phonics curriculum 🤓📖

Pa’lante Ultralight Pack

I use the pa’lante ultralight pack - wrap my clothes for the day around my laptop. have shower, towel, other supplies at work. the pack is incredible it’s lasted for 3 years of run commuting

Maroon Suitcase

Travel tip: Get a suitcase with an atypical color. It's easier to identify it among other bags. Mine is maroon, for example. Distinctive, but dark enough to not show dirt. Dark green is a good choice too. Navy is a little too common

Chef's Knife + Oversized Cutting Board

I have a lot of kitchen basics that make me happy. Chef's knife, over-sized cutting board, shallow stainless mixing bowl…

Paper Republic Notebook

When your girl orders an uber courrier to get her favourite notebook 15 minutes before the store closes so she will have ample stationery on her solo paris trip, you just smile and nod

Apple Watch

I also wore my Apple Watch and Oura ring, both in airplane mode. My best meditations always had the least variation in heart rate. When I wasn't focused, it would jump around a lot.

Sunbeam Juniper

I got a really good flip phone from Sunbeam. It was expensive, but it has Waze, speech-to-text, 5G hotspot, and other features that will make the switch less inconvenient.

Bambu Lab A1 + AMS

Depends on your budget, but the Bambu Lab A1 is arguably the perfect starter printer. Highly recommend getting an AMS with it as multi-color printing is a huge unlock for all sorts of cool stuff.

MetRx Bars

I frickin LOVE Metrx bars - Don't care how processed they are, I like the taste and they work as a meal, - A MetRx bar and cup of coffee at the gas station got me through some of the most challenging seasons of life

I have one, it's really good Slightly bigger capacity than the normal plastic one too It's heavy though, like in a dense, sturdy way. Nice feeling but not for the weight conscious

Darn Tough + Bombas Socks

Sock Update: I tried out both darn tough + bombas socks! both are among the best socks I've worn; DTs preferred for long walks or hiking and bombas for casual around-the-house wear, especially in hot weather

Daylight Computer DC-1

Daylight Computer. The Kindle Amazon never made. If it were maybe 30% smaller/lighter it would be perfect. It is *unreal* how much it feels like reading paper, even though the paper now e.g. scrolls Twitter or plays videos.

Earplugs

Started using earplugs in the last few days and it completely upgraded my sleep quality! 💤 Wish I have done this sooner!

ZERO Baby Bum Balm

I fell in love with my baby’s bum balm. It’s one made from tallow and zinc oxide (a major apology to the crunchy girls, they have been right about tallow for the skin!).

Peak Design Travel Backpack 30L

I use the 30L one actually and it's terrific for overnight trips. But if truly committed to backpack only for a longer trip, 45L would be the way to go.

Mac Studio

My daily driver is a Mac Studio that sits on my desk and I just connect to it with Tailscale. Then if I'm going on a plane or something must be local I pull it down from GitHub and play locally.

Codex Micro

Still experimenting but my current setup is - joystick left sidebar toggle, joystick right browser toggle, up and down are skills - 6 agent keys pinned - fast mode, yolo, swapped back to fork experimenting with this, and run button to build

1959 Milo Baughman Stereo Console

Found a 1959 Milo Baughman stereo console in Ohio. Shipped it to NYC and restored it.

Eight Sleep Pod

I was sleeping, it was 2am~ ish, and I was alerted about this issue because my internet mattress (which I love, shoutout to @eightsleep) was warm 😅

Sonos Beam + Era 100s

Holy fuck that Sonos setup was miserable. Had to redo Beam. Ended up with Living Room 1, Loving Room 2, Living Room 3. Why did I download TrueTone for each speaker? Stereo mode doesn’t keep volume in sync. Screw it, it’s mostly working.

Linen Pants

if you're a dude, every problem in your life can be solved by just getting moderately jacked and wearing linen pants. trust me

AirPods

Wow, coming up on 10 years of Airpods. Hard to imagine a world without them. Designed so well that I often forget they're on me. So many AI accessories currently in development feel like the inverse; you're acutely aware they're there

Anine Bing Shirt

Glad to see AOC has made a 'Tax the Rich' shirt so that I can finally wash the 'I Am Kind and Grateful' $190 Annie Bing shirt that I have been wearing daily

Tesla Model 3

Took delivery of a Model 3 today. My 1st new car, and 1st time ever driving a Tesla. Car is amazing. The kids love it too

iPhone 13 Mini

I already have old iPhone mini but still it's too big for me.

EltaMD Face Sunscreen

We probably get a biweekly EltaMD shipment which is imo best face sunscreen.

Thorne Magnesium Bisglycinate

Magnesium: recently switched to Thorne powder version and love it

ik i’m late to the game but taking waymos in sf is insane and has exceeded expectations. probably the most something has felt like living in the future

ASUS ProArt PA279CV Monitor

Canada link but bought this on in 2021 and still like it.

AirPods Pro (Two Pairs)

biting the bullet and dual wielding airpods pro was a nice little level up in my permanent access to music/podcast without battery anxiety🤗

LUMIX shoots better footage with better software at half the price with no overheating issues
