Terms of Use

Effective July 1, 2026

Sterp (sterp.com) and my product reviews (formerly Power Moves) are both run by me, Cameron Secore. By using either, you agree to the terms below. If something here doesn’t work for you, the simplest fix is to not use the site.

What this is

Sterp is a personal product page platform. You create an account, add products you actually use, write honest one-liners about them, and share your page with people who trust your recommendations. My reviews are my personal take on products I’ve bought and used. There’s no company behind any of this. It’s operated by me, Cameron Secore, as an individual. When this page says “I” or “me,” that’s Cam.

My reviews and content

Reviews, comparisons, and opinions in my content reflect my personal experience with products I’ve purchased and used. I buy every product I review with my own money. Specs, prices, and product lineups change fast, so a post may not reflect the current state of a product. Treat everything as one person’s take, not professional advice.

Nothing in my content is medical, financial, legal, or safety advice. The products I cover, like sleep trackers, wearables, CGMs, and smart home devices, are not substitutes for qualified professional guidance.

Your account

  • You need an account to create a Sterp page.
  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One account per person. Don’t create accounts for other people or organizations.
  • Your username becomes your permanent public URL (sterp.com/username). Choose carefully, because usernames can’t be changed through the app. Contact me if you need help.

Your content

You own the content you post on Sterp: your photos, product names, one-liners, and archive notes. By posting it, you give me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content as part of operating Sterp. That lets me show your public page to visitors, include your content in social preview cards, and display it correctly across devices.

You can delete your content anytime from your dashboard. Deleting it removes it from your public page and my active database, though cached versions may persist briefly in CDN or browser caches.

Using the site

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or redistribute content at scale without permission.
  • Submit fake subscriptions, abuse the email system, or try to break the site.
  • Use the site if you’re under 13. If you’re 13 or older but a minor where you live, use the site only with a parent’s permission.

If you create a Sterp page

  • Post real content. Sterp is built on authenticity. Your photos should be your own: real products in your real life. Stock photos, manufacturer images, and AI-generated photos are not allowed.
  • Write honest takes. Your one-liners should reflect your actual opinion. You don’t have to love everything on your page, but don’t post reviews you were paid to write or misrepresent your experience with a product.
  • Don’t abuse the platform. Don’t use Sterp to spam, harass, impersonate others, post illegal content, or manipulate affiliate links.
  • Respect intellectual property. Don’t post content that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademarks.

Don’t post content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Harasses, threatens, or bullies others
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware or phishing links
  • Impersonates another person or brand
  • Is spam or exists mainly to manipulate affiliate commissions
  • Uses stock photos, manufacturer product shots, or AI-generated images presented as your own

I reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Affiliate links and disclosure

Some links across my reviews and on Sterp pages are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

In my reviews, I only link to products I’ve actually used or am testing, and commissions never change my opinion. If a product is bad, I say so. I buy the products first, so commissions help fund the next round of reviews. The programs I use: Amazon Associates for most links (qualifying purchases typically run 1–4%; as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases), Impact for Eight Sleep, and Ambassador for Levels.

On Sterp pages, affiliate tags are applied and managed automatically through my backend. You don’t add or manage them yourself, and I may add, modify, or replace the affiliate tags on links displayed on your page. I currently keep all affiliate revenue. If I introduce a revenue-sharing program, I’ll update these terms and let users know.

Intellectual property

My reviews, photos, and the video embedded from my YouTube channel are mine. You’re welcome to quote short passages with a link back, but please don’t republish full posts. Sterp’s name, logo, design, and code are also mine. Your content stays yours, and I don’t claim ownership of what you post. Product names and logos belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.

External links

The site links to external resources like product pages, YouTube, documentation, and affiliate destinations. I don’t control those sites and I’m not responsible for their content or practices. Once you click through, their terms and privacy policies apply.

Termination

You can stop using the site anytime. To delete your account and all associated data, email cam@sterp.com.

I may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. I’ll try to give you notice first, but I reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is.” I don’t promise it will be error-free, available at any particular time, or suitable for any particular purpose. Act on my reviews at your own risk. Product recommendations on Sterp pages are the opinions of individual users, not endorsements by me. I’m not responsible for the accuracy of product information, the quality of recommended products, or any purchases you make through links on the site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I’m not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or reliance on its content. If a court or arbitrator finds me liable anyway, my total liability is capped at $100.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, except for claims that qualify for small claims court. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis, with no class actions.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you’re good with the new terms.
