iPad Pro remains the best single technology product for sale. It is impressive in every respect: it's beautiful, absurdly fast, and incredibly well made. There hasn't been a device so vastly better than everything else in the world since iPod, or maybe the original iPhone.
Over the past year, I never once plugged anything into the USB-C port on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I think, at least for the non-Pro iPhones, the port can now be deleted.

MacBook Pro's MagSafe cable light is way too bright at night. It's such a basic thing for Apple's design team to overlook. They have the ambient light sensors, they have the technology to make it dim… It's strangely annoying.
After a month with both devices: iPhone X: nearly flawless. Cannot think of a single thing worth complaining about. Pixel 2 XL: So unbelievably shitty in literally every way that I can't believe Google shipped it. The power adapter it ships with is nice, though.
