iPhone 16 Pro Max
Over the past year, I never once plugged anything into the USB-C port on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I think, at least for the non-Pro iPhones, the port can now be deleted.
MacBook Pro
MacBook Pro's MagSafe cable light is way too bright at night. It's such a basic thing for Apple's design team to overlook. They have the ambient light sensors, they have the technology to make it dim… It's strangely annoying.
iPad Pro
iPad Pro remains the best single technology product for sale. It is impressive in every respect: it's beautiful, absurdly fast, and incredibly well made. There hasn't been a device so vastly better than everything else in the world since iPod, or maybe the original iPhone.
Apple Watch
Apple Watch is the most inspiring thing in the tech industry right now — it's actually having a very tangible impact on improving the health of humanity.
Pixel 2 XL
After a month with both devices: iPhone X: nearly flawless. Cannot think of a single thing worth complaining about. Pixel 2 XL: So unbelievably shitty in literally every way that I can't believe Google shipped it. The power adapter it ships with is nice, though.
AirPods
Apple definitely put their doesn't-screw-shit-up team on AirPods. Fairly close to perfection.
