Every once in a while I run into a product that just feels better than anything else in its category. Almost as if it's in its own adjacent group, next to the category, but outside it. The Norda 003 is one of those products.
I own the Lone Peak 9s as well and love them. Great shoe. I need more cushioning in some situations, but they're great for most things.
The Chuck Taylor Slip is a fav of mine. Something about the elastic strapped tongue - just enough downward pressure, not too much, nothing I do in those shoes requires anything tighter, but looser would be worse. Elastic is a magic material.
They make a fantastic product, no question! I typically only buy hiking shoes with Vibram soles.
